I Bowed My Head

I bowed my head with sadness,my heart began to sink,
Those people in the tower, had no time to think,
those people on the sidewalk, the people on the planes,
the families with children, no parent children games.

The tears for all those victims, & people left behind,
flood the floors of houses, never out of mind.
We see the rescue heroes, some become the dead,
bless the poor survivors, lying in their bed,
no more loving cuddles, from those that left that morn,
the passengers on the plane, no more rising dawn.

As I sit behind my desk, a tear begins to fall,
God bless you all Americans, I hope you hear our call,
though miles of ocean separate, as time begins to heal,
our thoughts are with you heartfelt, our friendships not a deal,
We wish you well in prayer, we offer what we can,
we wish you all peace in your hearts, to you our fellow man.
