Neopets

First of all Neopets is a website but it is also a game with its own world. When you first go there you need to choose from 1 to 4 neopets, (I suggest no more than 2 to start with till your comfortable taking care of them).

There are many different species of Neopets. Some of them may look a little weird, the Aisha for example looks like a cat except it has square feet and two little stalks with ears on them and no nose. Neopets come in different colours and you get to choose red, blue, yellow or green as well as whether your Neopet is a boy or a girl. If you want there are also special paintbrushes that can change the Neopets colour to something very cool like "Rainbow or Disco". These paintbrushes are very expensive to buy and rare to find.

Now you are probably wondering how you pay for these things. Neopia has tons of games to play. Each game gives you Neopoints which is used like money in the world of Neopia. You need to buy food and grooming supplies as well as toys to keep your Neopet happy and healthy. Occasionally your Neopet will get sick with one of the many Neopian Diseases such as Sneezles. You then have to go to the Hospital to find out what is wrong with your Neopet and what you need to buy from the Pharmacy in order to make it better. If you click on your Neopet's name on the left menu you will get the statistics for your pet. This will show their health, hunger, happiness, strength, defense, intelligence, abilities, etc.
