MembersWiredKids Members The youngest volunteers are age seven. Children between the ages of seven and 12 are eligible for WiredKids membership. (There is no charge for membership.) In order to join, children must have their parents or a guardian sign the application form, and must submit a letter from their school indicating that they are enrolled in good standing. (For home-schooled children, other forms of age confirmation are accepted.) WiredKids is a safe community for children who want to chat with other children, share their talents and passions, while being safe online. They learn how to get the most from the Internet, without jeopardizing their privacy and security. They also share this information with others, creating a safer group of friends, both offline and online. They build and maintain the WiredKidz site, which teaches web-based skills, writing and fosters creative growth. They even write cyberdectective stories, comics and games.
