The best acceptable-use policies I have found come from libraries, & the "cream of the crop" seem to come from school libraries. Check with your school librarian or library media specialist & see what they're using. I've listed many resources for acceptable-use policies at familyguidebook.com, Baltimore County's Student Acceptable-Use Policy & the Trevor Day School's Policy (a private school in Manhattan that has developed some very special programs for students using laptop computers). Both policies are among the best I've seen & among the earliest. If you know of a good policy, let me know so I can share it with others at the www.wiredkids.org sites.
