Information for Teachers

Imagine all the possibilities that present themselves to a class of 7th graders doing a class project on solar heating. The hands on experience, the teamwork, problem solving... the list is endless.

Now imagine the possibilities of this same class doing this same project but with the Internet & all it's wonderful capabilities. They would have all the same benefits as before but with an endless wealth of information behind them.

But why stop at information? The Internet is not limited in it's capabilities, why should we be? Let's take this one step further....

Imagine a situation where this same class is working on this same project, but hand in hand & online with a grade 7 class in Sweden or the UK or some other distant country.

Imagine live class chats as two groups of children in totally different cultures unite to complete a project, to solve problems. Crossing borders, bringing down barriers, sharing idea's in a way only the Internet allows. The benefits to these kids would be enormous.
